- Home // Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association: Mission Statement LMBA is a non-profit organization committed to teaching sportsmanship and basketball skills to children and youth through coach mentored practice and competition. Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association (LMBA) operates in partnership with Basketball Alberta and NSD Basketball to provide Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB) to children in Lethbridge Alberta. Our season runs from Jan. 12 until the end of April. All practice and league games will be played at LCI (located at 5th Ave. & 17 St. S.) We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach, referee, score, and time keep. Application forms will be available at registration. Coach and referee training will occur in late December or early January. Coaches will receive a 3 hour SNYB coach?s clinic, coach?s manual and coach?s lesson plan book.
